A closing balance alone rarely tells the full story. A reviewer needs to understand who owns the funds, how money normally enters and leaves the account, and whether the proposed trip is proportionate.
Show the normal pattern
Use the statement period requested by the destination authority. Make sure regular income can be connected to employment, business activity or another truthful source.
Explain unusual transactions
Large recent credits may be legitimate, but unexplained money can create uncertainty. Provide a concise explanation and reliable supporting evidence where relevant.
Keep the budget coherent
Travel cost, accommodation, dependants and ongoing obligations should all fit the financial picture described elsewhere in the application.
